Traveling

The worst part about Thanksgiving is that we always have to travel. It's never held at my parent's (where I live, too) and, working in retail and having to get up early the next day, I never feel like I can relax on Thanksgiving.

Lost two months. It's okay. I'll have stuff automagically posted here from now on, little clips of me calling into Utterz, a mini voice blogging site, and it'll stick stuff on here so it'll stay active. Whee.

Almost a month..

..Since I've posted here. What can I say, I've been busy. I hit 56 on my Priest, I've got a concert to help host tonight, and I've got to leave for work in about 45 minutes. I got sick yesterday. I'm not sure if I just predicted it, or if I jinxed myself, but I called in sick even tho I wasn't feeling THAT bad, and then in the afternoon I was miserable. I was dizzy, lightheaded, almost ready to vomit and faint. Mum decided I was dehydrated and hungry, due to the fact that I hadn't eaten and drank anything since 10 o'clock that morning. So I sipped water and nibbled toast while Pete kept me company. I think I worried him.

Second Life, Skype, & the loss of life

Not technically. There is no death. Only a slow decline of my physical life. I haven't gone to the gym in two weeks. I do have an excuse for that one - I'm a female, and girls get one week a month off to be a moo-cow. I've been in Second Life a lot, and trying to keep Skype on to talk to friends, so I don't go out much. I've found a Harry Potter universe, a Star Wars and a Star Trek universe, plus a bunch of medieval/fantasy universes. I hate calling them 'sims' because I'm still stuck back where a 'sim' was a character you played, as in The Sims. Wanna Skype me? I love talking to people, and I can't wait to figure out how to record Skype conversations to use in my podcast... I'm MistressJett on Skype. See you 'round!

Out with the old, in with the new!

I got my hair dyed today, so here are the before pictures...

It's changed the texture of my hair, which I kinda like. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

I saw a teeny baby bunny get run over in the street on my way home today. It made me sad, and at the same time, made me really mad. Because the car was an SUV. One of those big ones, with three rows of seats and horrible gas mileage. It just gives me one more reason to think that SUV drivers/buyers just don't care about anything but their insignificant lives, and how "cool" their cars are. It could've swerved out of the way, and avoided the poor thing by inches, but I bet they were talking on their cellphone, or yelling at their noisy spoiled kids for no good reason. People like that make me sick.

I've recovered a little, but I've made myself a vow. Even if I have to stop my car completely and get out of my car to shoo away whatever small creature has wandered into the road, I will NOT run over any animals, so help me. As for deer, or (if they're even in this area) moose, I'll just stop and wait for them to move on their own. They can hurt me!! lol

I found photos of when Lucifer was little, and still wearing his li'l blue harness.
I was under the impression that I was gonna teach him how to walk on a leash.
Fat chance!

Never thought I'd use this again, but I like photo blogging.
It's much more fun to put a picture with a paragraph than it is to just have a simple paragraph.
